I tried to split this division into two divisions with 25,000 troops and 250 tanks each.

No matter what I type in for values it tells me I cannot split the unit by my definitions.

How do I split this unit?

Why does the system do this? This puts me at a disadvantage as I am now unable to move into enemy territory and have to retreat to make my area clear. Is there something that the enemy can do to initiate a battle without actually having to move into the area?
